- Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston, SC, intends to modify a sole source procurement to Polaris Alpha Advanced Systems, Inc. (formerly EOIR Technologies) of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD by extending the contract expiration date from 30 September 2019 to 31 March 2020 and increasing the current contract amount by $265,000.00. This modification will support continued systems engineering, technical and management and software development services for the Planning Application Extension (PAE) software. This procurement will meet the immediate demands of NIWC Atlantic in support of Marine Corps System Command (MCSC) without delay and to allow sufficient time for evaluation of the follow-on contract. This action is being pursued under the statutory authority of 10.U.S.C.2304 (c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Any interested parties should submit information via email to Angela Carter at angela.e.carter@navy.mil no later than 24 April 2019.
