The Government proposes to acquire, on a one-time-buy (OTB) contract, a quantity of 5 each of a TRANSMITTER ASSEMBLY; NSN: 4920-01-563-3106; Part Number: 2501200-4 applicable to the A-FP AH-64 Apache weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 5 each, 810 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 5 each, 540 DACA with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. PRON: AX9F5973AX. The Government proposes to acquire, on a one-time-buy (OTB) contract, a quantity of 5 each of a Collimator Infrared; NSN: 1240-01-202-4135; Part Number: 2305000 applicable to the A-CD AH-64 Apache weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 5 each, 810 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 5 each, 540 DACA with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Furthermore, the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. These parts must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
