Description

The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support to purchase a handheld, self-contained portable Raman spectrophotometer for use in the Preservation Research and Testing Division (PRTD). PRTD is seeking to acquire a self-contained, handheld portable Raman instrument that is capable of analyzing a broad range of materials present in the Library's collection as well as reference samples. This acquisition will enhance the capabilities of PRTD's suite of portable instruments and allow the collection of Raman spectra non-destructively from collection objects as well as reference materials.
