Description

The U.S. Forest Service has a need to obtain various types of Mobile Retardant Base (MRB) services. These MRB services are contractor owned, operated, and maintained portable retardant plants for mixing and loading Long-Term Fire Retardants (LTFR), as listed on the USFS Qualified Products list (QPL). The MRBs are used for the delivery of LTFR into fixed wing airtankers (AT), very large airtankers (VLAT), single engine airtankers (SEAT), and helicopters (H) at various locations throughout the U.S. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-APR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
