Description

The United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division (AMD) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, with SmarAct, Inc., for the procurement of a high-precision nano-positioning system, to include two motorized XYZ assemblies, formed of high-precision motorized linear translation stages from the series SLS-3232, along with required accessories for sensing and control, including all necessary drivers for integration with an existing software (Labview) program that will be used to control the stages.. The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b) by the authority of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-APR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
