Description

The purpose of amendment 004 is provide the following questions and responses. Q1. Is a scissors lift required to gain access to the hoists? R1. Most bridge cranes have a fixed ladder for access. The polar crane requires a step ladder which will be provided by NIST. Most other cranes the hoist can be accessed by a step ladder. Q2. Will NIST provide access to the hoists for inspection? R2. NIST will provide access to the hoist and cranes for inspection. Q3. What is the higest point that will need to be reached? R3.. The top of the tallest crane is estimated to be 24 feet. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. End of Amendment 004. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-APR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
