- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide Assessing Social and Community Environments with National Data (ASCEND) For Veteran Suicide Prevention: Development Phase for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veteran Affairs Medical Center located at 1700 N. Wheeling St. Aurora CO 80045. The intent ASCEND For Veteran Suicide Prevention: Development Phase is to provide and design a national survey of Veterans that will: 1) Serve as a national surveillance system through recurring administration to document prevalence and trends over time in self-directed violence (SDV); 2) Provide estimates of the impact of risk and protective factors on SDV. The scope of work will consist of 1) survey development; 2) stakeholder engagement; 3) collection and management of data; 4) analysis of data; 5) survey refinement; and 6) project management. This project will survey the Veteran population as a whole, not only those using VHA services, and findings will be used to inform policy and service development, program evaluation, and quality improvement for Veteran suicide prevention. The final sample size and sampling approach will be developed within the scope of this contract, in partnership with VA PIs. The NAICS code is 541910 Marketing Research and Public Opinion Polling and Small Business Size Standard is $15 million. The information submitted shall contain the company s business size status. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged.
