Description
Multigen Food Heating Unit Background The Lebanon VA Medical Center, Nutrition and Food Services, requires a replacement of a Multigen Food Heating Unit. The current unit is in its end of life cycle. This piece of equipment will be used to prepare cook-chill and ready to serve meals, maintaining the appropriate serving temperatures, for the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP). Scope of Work The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Contractor shall provide one brand name Multigen III food heating unit (model BLM53.700) or equivalent and deliver it to the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) within thirty (30) days of contract award. Technical Specifications Brand Name or equivalent- Multigen III BLM53.700 Heating Unit Required Technical Specifications: The actual Dispenser which is insulated Two separate ovens with temperature ranges from 0 to 277 °F (14/16xGN 1/1-Three Phase-208V- 60Hz-)-Two Harting Inlet Flanges Refrigeration- both Sections nA (2) compartments with separate controls Unit Maximum height 55.91 inches (including casters) Unit Maximum width 28.78 inches Unit Maximum length 59.37 inches 6 castors 160mm central brake-no tow bar5 swivel casters (2) with brakes Gantry with sneeze guard and halogen light nA6 cord & NEMA 6-20P plug, NSF, UL listed Fold down trail rail, fold facia panel Transfer module 7 levels reinforced S/S Grid (14) Lateral fold down wire shelf-must fit 12X21 inches tray Gantry dishes holder Gantry and tray rail condiment container Patch cord set 208/3/60-20 AMPS Dual oven technology Reduced energy consumption Reduced heat output LCD electronic controls with HACCP and/or online monitoring system BCardWise (smart card user access ID) Automatic steam evacuation system Cleaning cycle Air curtain system when oven door is open Food probe temperature linked to menu selection Boost-Cycle Delivery/Installation: Delivery shall occur no later than 30 days of date of awarded contract and be delivered to Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon PA 17042 and be completed in accordance with the offer s commercial schedule. Contractor will uncrate, set in place, calibrate and startup all new equipment. Demonstration on all specifications to be given. Contractor will be responsible for removal of old equipment and trash. Delivery and installation shall be coordinated at least 72 hours in advance with the Point of Contact (POC) Lynn Kern @717-272-6621 x3897 ( lynn.kern@va.gov ) Training: The contractor shall provide complete start up and training to Lebanon VAMC N&FS staff. The training shall provide a thorough demonstration of all systems/solution functions, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting Documentation: The contractor shall provide one copy set of operating manuals to include schematics, installation, operation and maintenance and any other manuals for system. Documentation shall be provided in English in hard copy. Maintenance Service: Not applicable Warranty: The contractor shall warrant the entire system for a period of at least one year. The warranty must include unlimited telephone/e-mail support for questions regarding operation. All costs including parts, labor, travel and other expenses necessary to repair the system will be borne solely by the contractor at no additional cost to the U.S. Government. Inspection and Acceptance: In addition to the inspection and acceptance terms of FAR 52.212-4(a), the Government reserves the right to conduct performance tests and evaluations to verify product performance. Such tests and evaluations shall be conducted within the environment the system is to be operated. The Contractor has the right to be present during the tests and evaluations at the Contractor s expense.
