Description
Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. NAICS Code 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. These items are for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) Lebanon, PA 17042. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via email at justin.erdley@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 12:00 Noon EST, Monday, April 22, 2019. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to justin.erdley@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Department of Veterans Affairs Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042 Statement of Work Embletta MPR PG Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has a need to replace outdated Embletta MPR PG units and increase the number of units available for testing due to increases in testing requests. Current units are non-repairable and must be replaced. Also, the number of tests requested each week is steadily increasing, requiring additional units to complete these requests. This request is a name-brand-only due to the units being compatible with our current Remlogic software which is proprietary from the manufacturer. Scope of Work: The work is for delivery of thirty (30) Embletta MPR PG s with accessories to the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Embletta MPR PGs can perform Home Sleep Testing while being compatible with our current software, Remlogic. Testing measurements must include nasal flow, mask pressure, snore, sound amplitude, body position, activity, with a typical recording time of 24 hours. Salient Characteristics: Parameters o The units shall be able to record the following channels (12); Pressure sound, gravity (X/Y/Z), bipolar ExG, thermister, Thoracic effort (RIP), Abdominal effort (RIP), DC (0-1V), Battery, event button, SpO2, SpO2 B-B, SpO2 quality, pulse rate, plethysmogram, RD quality, PPG. o The units shall derive the following signals (7); nasal flow, mask pressure, snore, sound amplitude, body position, activity, elevation. o The units shall have an internal memory of 2GB and a typical recording time of 24 hours. Capabilities o The units shall be able to record all channels as listed under parameters. o The ventilator shall be compatible with our current Remlogic software. o The units shall derive the signals listed under parameters. Performance Requirements: The Embletta MPR PG shall record all channels and derive all signals listed under parameters. They shall be compatible with our current Remlogic software. Delivery: The purchase of thirty (30) Embletta MPR PG and accessories shall be delivered to the Warehouse in Lebanon VAMC located at 1700 south Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042 DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
