- Description
- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for CubeSat Dispenser Hardware & Mission Integration Services 3. A CubeSat is a type of miniaturized space research satellite that typically uses commercial, off-the-shelf electronic components. In support of this effort, Offerors must be capable of performing the standard services, which includes engineering development support, dispenser carrier hardware, CubeSat to dispenser and dispenser to launch vehicle (LV) integration, and sytem testing. Additionally, Offerors may be required to perform non-standard services (such as de-integration and commercial flight services), mission unique services, and special task assignments related to the hardware and integration services. NASA intends to make one or more award(s) of the Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) IDIQ type contract. The contract ordering period is anticipated to be July 23, 2019 through July 22, 2024. The minimum order value for each contract will be $10,000 with a maximum total combined potential value for the contracts of $18,000,000. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted no later than Wednesday, 1 May 2019 at 1:00 PM EST. All Offerors are given 47 calendar days to provide their responses no later than the firm due date for receipt of proposals of Monday, 3 June 2019, at 1:00 PM EST. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation, which shall be considered by NASA. NASA clause NFS 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet on the Government-wide point of entry (GPE). The GPE can be accessed via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
