- Edit: Drop 2 Amendment 2 is for the purposes of adding six (6) documents and a library for interface documents: CDRL Instructions, Maintenance Strategy, draft cost model, cost model instructions, Section F, J-17 interface documents, and a read me document pertaining to the interface documents. In order to obtain the interface documents, interested parties must request access to the KSN library. These requests must be submitted via email to the points of contact listed in this announcement. The dates for comment and question submittals is not changed as a result of this amendment. Edit: Drop 2 is amended to add a file for Drop 1 comment responses that is not password protected. This is drop 2 for the Draft Screening Information Request (SIR) for the Enterprise “ Information Display System (E-IDS). This Draft SIR includes eighteen (18) attachments: Contract Sections B, C, E, H, I, L, M, CDRLs, DIDs, Strategic Plan, Implementation Considerations, E-IDS Site List, CHI Thinspecs (1 doc and 1 zip file), Sample Change Requests, FAA responses to drop 1 comments and questions, drop 2 comment matrix, and Drop 2 FAA directed questions to industry. Subsequently, drop 2.1 will include the draft cost model, draft cost model instructions, section F, and various interface control documents. FAA received helpful comments on drop 1 from industry. Those comments are appreciated have been given full consideration. FAA requests that industry submit comments pertaining to drop 2 no later than 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on January 11th, 2019. Additional comments to drop 1 will also be accepted. Please submit comments and questions within the attached Drop 2 Comment Matrix spreadsheet. Responses to FAA directed questions may be submitted in a separate document. Please send completed Drop 2 Comment Matrices and responses to directed questions via email to David.L.Reynolds@faa.gov and copy Katherine.McCray@faa.gov. Comments pertaining to all aspects of the Draft SIR are welcome. Please note FAA is again highlighting areas where industry feedback is particularly welcome “ these highlights can be found in the Directed Questions to Industry (drop 2) document. Vendors are instructed not to submit any proprietary information in response to this draft SIR. Vendors are cautioned that everything in this draft SIR is subject to change at this time.
