Description
The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time, however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Wilmington VA Medical Center is seeking to identify potential sources for future Brand Name or Equal requirement for a training device for augmented communication. The brand name item for reference is Tobii Dynavox I-15+. Equivalent products must have the following minimum required features: The ability to utilize eye gaze/ eye tracking to activate Must include the following features: 15.0 screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio and be LED backlit a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA) The screen must have touch technology with projected capacitive touch using Coming Gorilla Glass utilizing 10-point multi touch The unit must be integrated with both speakers and a microphone The system must utilize an Intel Celeron Quad Core Processor with 4 GB DDR3 Ram and Microsoft Windows 10 2.5 SSD 120 GB hard disk drive microSD-card with 32GB have the following connectors: HDMI 1.3 Connector Type A 2 USB2.0 1 USB 3.0 1 RJ45 100/1000 Ethernet 2 3.5 Switch connector interface 1 headphone jack The loaded software must be programmable Audio alerts that alert when: charger is connected; Electrode contact is faulty; charging error has occurred; battery charge level is low; stimulation is turned on/off or paused; system is turned on/off; stimulation unit malfunctions. A rechargeable battery and charging port. Control Unit have ability to communicate via bluetooth: Operating buttons to: turn on/off the wireless system; volume up/down; have menu for programming Forward facing camera with 5 MP auto focus and camera facing user with 2 MP fixed focus. Eye tracking feature has: Positioning distance from screen of 45-80cm Track box size of 20x15-35 x30 cm Track box depth of 35 cm Gaze precision of 0.6 deg (std dev of 0.1 deg) Freedom of Head Movement @ 70 cm = 35 x 30 cm Gaze Data Rate of 60 Hz Gaze Accuracy under ideal conditions across 30 x 20 x 20 cm headbox = 1.5 deg with std dev of 0.1 deg Meets Safety and EMC standards (IEC 60601-1 Internally powered, Type B and BF applied parts Electromagnetic compatibility Delivery need to be made to the Wilmington VAMC Include a standard warranty.
