PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT BALTIMORE NATIONAL CEMETERY; LOCATED IN BALTIMORE CITY, WITHIN CATONSVILLE, BALTIMORE COUNTY. PURPOSE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NC), is Soliciting Request for Proposal (RFP) under Solicitation Number 36C78619R0052 for Construction of Mini-Minor (MM) Project to Construct Committal Shelter at Baltimore National Cemetery, MD. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, service and professional supervision required for the construction and performance of all work In Accordance With (IAW) the Solicitation Plans, Specifications, Drawings, required permits, terms and conditions for the Construction of Committal Shelter at Baltimore National Cemetery, as depicted in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specs and Drawings. Baltimore National Cemetery is located along Maryland Route 144 on both sides of the boundary between the neighborhoods of Beechfield in Baltimore City and Catonsville in Baltimore County. COST MAGNITUDE: In Accordance With (IAW) VAAR 836.204; The Magnitude of Construction Cost Range is between $250,000. and $500,000.00 SITE VISIT: There will be an Official Guided Site-Visit, which is scheduled for 06 May 2019 @ 10:00 A.M. (EST) in the Lodge at the Baltimore National Cemetery, MD. NAICS CODE: 237990 SIZE STANDARDS: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) responding to this solicitation. Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is Set-Aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.
