Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), or all other SB firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a set-aside. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking potential sources capable of providing Multitherapy Infusion Pumps for the Dayton VA Medical Center, located in Dayton, OH. Below are the salient characteristics: REQUIREMENTS: Infusion Pumps, Multitherapy Shall have continuous mode that can be modified to set maximum volume to be infused, infusion rate, and Keep Vein Open (KVO) rate at end of infusion Shall have settings for screen brightness, key press volume, alarm volume, and also be modifiable Shall be safely used to infuse a wide range of solutions, including medications, blood products, fluids and narcotics Specialized pain management shall also include unique delivery modes for both IV PCA and Epidural Shall be self-contained and programmable with a small size (less than 6 h x 4 w x 2 d) and low weight (less than 2 lbs. with battery) Battery life shall be approximately 24 hours at 125mL/hr. Shall have a delivery rate accuracy of +/-2.5% Shall have delivery rates of 0.1 99.9mL with increments of 0.1mL/hr.; 100 999 mL/hr. with increments of 1mL/hr. Shall have system alarms for Air-In-Line, primary IV set misplaced, occlusions Shall check for upstream and downstream, flow error, and insufficient battery Shall have KVO rate up to 20mL/hr. with increments of 0.1mL/hr. All work to be performed will be within North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 Employees. In order to be eligible to respond as an SDVOSB or VOSB, a firm must be Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) registered in VetBiz. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. An active registration in the System for Awards Management (SAM) is also required. Registration is available at www.sam.gov Contractors must provide the following information in response to this Sources Sought Notice: Business name and address; Name of company representative and their business title; Business size as it relates to the NAICS code and size standard stated in this Sources Sought Notice; DUNS Number; Are instruments available on GSA, NAC, or other government contracting vehicles; and Manufacturer Authorized Distributor Letter, if applicable.
