- Yankee Meadows Campground Reconstruction The Yankee Meadows Campground was burned over during the 2017 Brian Head fire. This project consists of reconstructing portions of the campground to repair damage caused by the fire, as well as other improvements. Base Bid Work will include: 1) Obliterating existing roads that are to be removed 2) Constructing new aggregate road ways, parking areas, and campground spurs, including culverts 3) Constructing new campground sites, including all new furniture, for single, double and group campsites 4) Constructing improvements to the existing water system 5) Constructing improvements to the host sewer system 6) Constructing a new propane system for the host Optional Bid Items include: a) Removal and disposal of existing structures and obstructions (Exception: road obliteration included in base) b) Furnishing and installing shade structures for single units and group sites c) Furnishing and installing new double-unit vault comfort station d) Furnishing and installing tent pads for single and double units e) Relocating existing interpretive panels f) Furnishing and installing all signs, including regulatory, directional and site ID signs g) Furnishing and installing barrier rocks and concrete curb stops Work to be completed by others (not in contract): a) Removing and reinstalling the existing road closure gate b) Removing the existing fence and constructing a new fence NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S)/SUPPLIER(S) : Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the solicitation's closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs incurred. The full solicitation package for this project is anticipated to be posted to this website on April 16, 2019. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for May 7, 2019 (full details on the site visit will be listed in the solicitation package). Proposals are anticipated to be due on May 24, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. MT. Proposal can be mailed, shipped or hand delivered to the Fremont River Ranger District located in Loa, Utah (all delivery information and address will be included in the solicitation package). Offers that are e-mail or faxed will not be accepted. Please note that overnight delivery to Loa, Utah cannot be guaranteed; arrangements for shipping/mailing/delivery need to allow for adequate delivery time.
