PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT ALBANY RURAL CEMETERY SOLDIERS LOT (88); LOCATED IN ALBANY COUNTY, ALBANY NY. PURPOSE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NC), is Soliciting Quote under Solicitation Number 36C78619Q0260 for construction of Mini-Minor (M&M), for the Replacement of Flag Pole at Albany Rural Cemetery Soldiers Lot (88). DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, and professional service and supervision required for the construction and performance of all work In Accordance With (IAW) the Solicitation Plans, Specifications, Drawings, required permits, terms and conditions to Replace the Flag Pole at Albany Rural Cemetery Soldiers Lot as depicted in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specs and Drawings and the Solicitation. COST MAGNITUDE: In Accordance With (IAW) VAAR 836.204; The Magnitude of Construction is less than $25,000.00. SITE VISIT: A Site-Visit is scheduled for 30 April at 11:00 A.M. (EST). NAICS CODE: 238990 SIZE STANDARDS: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) responding to this solicitation. Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is Set-Aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.
