- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and/or Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). This equipment is intended for medical use. Electromyograph is used to perform electromyography and nerve conduction studies to ascertain condition of patient's nerves & muscles with 2-channel amplifier, electrical stimulator/probe and windows 10 desktop computer. Electromyograph with Amplifier and NCS must be equipped to do the following: 1) Base unit with control panel and usage of icons to eliminate text/language problems & cursor wheel for marker placements. 2) Two Channel Amplifier required for certain advanced studies for EMG/NCS with stimulus artifact suppression. 3) Isolated Electrical Stimulator/Probe with stimulus intensity that can be adjusted from console or remotely from probe and selectable constant current or constant voltage. 4) Must include: - Temperature Probe - Synergy Software - Windows 10 Desktop PC w/Monitor - Amplifier Arm - Training for (1) physician - Installation ***Will not be utilizing VA network for this system If responding to this notice, please provide the following: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this or similar product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence from manufacturer authorizing distribution of their products. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Responses should be submitted by e-mail to Jon Hurley at jonathan.hurley@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00pm Central Standard Time on Friday 04/26/19. Subject line should reference Sources Sought announcement number.
