Description

The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support to obtain a comprehensive service agreement for the Thermo Nicolet iS50 Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectrometer (serial # AUP1500097) and Thermo Nicolet iN10 MX FTIR Microscope (serial # ALK1811786) currently in the Preservation Research and Testing Division lab. The iS50 spectrometer was manufactured by Thermo Electron and was acquired by the Library in 2015. The iN10 microscope was acquired from Thermo Electron in 2018. These instruments are used for research and routine testing of a broad range of Library collection materials, collection housings, and environments. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-APR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
