Description
The 82 d Force Support Squadron ( 82 d FSS), Sheppard AFB, TX has a requirement for food service employees to provide full food service operations at three (3) main dining facilities (DFACs): Bldg. 805, Bldg. 1320, Bldg. 1368; one (1) stand-by facility: bldg 776; one (1) Central Preparation Kitchen (CPK), Bldg. 61; and the Sheppard Annex Site in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and PWS. Space will be provided in Bldg. 61 for the contractor to receive and store Meals, Ready to Eat (MRE). Space will be provided in Bldg. 212 for contractor administrative services and in Bldg. 596 for maintenance repair operations. The DFACs will be dedicated to providing full meal service and meeting the nutritional needs of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel who are required to use Sheppard DFACs. DFAC Bldg. 1368, Bldg. 1320, and Bldg. 805 will be full service dining facilities and provide carry out service. DFAC Bldg. 805 provides ground support and flight meals for passengers and crews in support of flying missions, to customers upon request in support of ground operations, as well as midnight meal service. Food service employees will provide a wide range of activities such as food preparation, food storage, food safety, full kitchen services, facilities maintenance and cleanup, movement of food supplies to and from dining facilities, equipment preparation and maintenance, stewardship of assigned Government property, and other food services activities to support an estimated 2,533 DOD personnel and Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) students. It is estimated that service will include 7,600 meals per day.
