Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Masonry Foundation Repair at Virginia Kendall Ledges Shelter within Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Project work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to perform the excavating of three sides of the foundation, cleaning, patching and installing a waterproofing membrane. Installation of a complete footer, Storm drainage system. Cleaning and installing a waterproof sealer on the inside of the foundation. Remove two 2,000 gal underground storage tanks and patching the foundation where tanks are protruding to the basement. Re-point three chimneys and all sandstone on the shelter floor. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6419R0023. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early June 2019 with performance to begin in July 2019. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238140, and the size standard is $15.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid/late May 2019 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
