- Synopsis for Request for Quote for 36C10B19Q0347 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for Computrition Incorporated s Hospitality Suite Client/Server software, with associated implementation, training, and technical support. The TAC intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Computrition Incorporated, 8521 Fallbrook Avenue, Suite 100, Canoga Park, California, for the aforementioned requirements. The Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 8.405-6(b), Items peculiar to one manufacturer. An item peculiar to one manufacturer can be a particular brand name, product, or a feature of a product, peculiar to one manufacturer). A brand name item, whether available on one or more schedule contracts, is an item peculiar to one manufacturer. Award is estimated in May 2019. The Period of Performance shall be 12-Months from Date of Award with six (6) optional tasks followed by two (2) 12-month option periods each with six (6) optional tasks, if exercised. Commercial acquisition procedures will be used. The primary North American Industry Classification System code is 511210 size standard of $38.5M. This notification shall close on April 29, 2019 at 3PM ET.
