- Description
- The Ouachita National Forest has a requirement to construct a new septic system at the Cedar Lake Recreational Area located southwest of Heavener, Oklahoma. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to install septic systems, and modify / rework collection and pumping systems, in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Title 252 Chapter 641. The work also includes the decommissioning and removal of an existing waste water treatment plant after the new septic systems are in service with DEQ approval to operate. The USDA Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service. All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management ( www.sam.gov ) to be eligible for award. The statement of magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Payment and performance bonds are required. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Jay Tobin at jay.g.tobin@usda.gov. Responses will not be provided to telephone messages. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is May 13, 2019. The actual due date for proposals will be identified on the solicitation. The Government is planning a pre-bid/pre-proposal site visit, which is tentatively scheduled for May 21, 2019. Time and date will be confirmed in the solicitation.
