Description

The contractor shall provide adequate equipment, facilities, instructors, instructional space, lessons, lesson activities, lodging, logistical support, and meals for the establishment of a JCLC/STEM camp for the purpose of introducing leadership and career opportunities for JROTC cadets. Their direct exposure to an institution of higher learning atmosphere, academic curriculum and professional research facilities will inspire the cadets to strive for leadership and academic excellence and continue their education beyond high school. Additionally, the camp will provide cadets an opportunity to live and interact with cadets from other schools throughout San Diego County; provide an opportunity for physical fitness and recreation, and other activities not normally available to the cadets. The JCLC/STEM camp will be conducted during the time period of 25 June to 29 June 2019. The JCLC/STEM camp will last a total of five days and four nights with a total of 160 Cadets & 15 Cadre attending this cycle.
