Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AXUMIN AND AMYVID RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL DOSES The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 for the Cleveland Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44131 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and VAAR 819.7007, Sole source awards to a verified service-disabled Veteran-owned small business. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with TrillaMed LLC., 30100 Telegraph Rd, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. TrillaMed LLC is the exclusive SDVOSB Distributor for PETNET Solutions, the manufacturer. The Contractor will provide a Firm Fixed Priced, twelve-month supply of Axumin and Amyvid; these Radiopharmaceutical Doses will be used in the Nuclear Medicine Department at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Axumin Radiopharmaceutical Doses 100 EA to identify suspected sites of prostate cancer Amyvid Radiopharmaceutical Doses 20 EA to identify beta-amyloid neuritic plaque in patients being evaluated for Alzheimer s disease. The Government believes that only one manufacturer can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with their SDVOSB Distributor, one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) access to proprietary information and PL 109-461. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 3 May 23, 2019 at 3PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
