- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Healthcare Transformation (OHT), in conjunction with the VA Strategic Acquisition Center-Frederick, will be hosting an Industry Day/ Pre-Proposal Conference for the future VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) requirement supporting VHA National Program Offices. Details of the event are as follows: Who: Government (Contracting and Program Personnel); and Industry (Interested SDVOSBs, VOSBs, Small Businesses, Other than Small Businesses, Academia, Not for Profit Firms interested in supporting VHA) What: Industry Day/ Pre-proposal Conference When: INDUSTRY DAY SESSION 1: May 13, 2019 (1:00PM-4:00PM ET) INDUSTRY DAY SESSION 2: May 14, 2019 (9:00AM-12:00PM ET) INDUSTRY DAY SESSION 3: May 14, 2019 (1:00PM-4:00PM ET) Where: VA National Conference Center 2011 Crystal Drive [Potomac A/B Conference Rm] Crystal City, VA 22202 Why: We are conducting a pre-proposal conference to fulfill numerous Government and Industry objectives: Industry objectives include-- Networking to meet potential teaming partners (and potential competitors), Obtaining a list of interested vendors to assess teaming opportunities, Gain a better understanding of the Government s needs and unique solicitation requirements, and Potential interaction with Government personnel Government objectives include Sharing details / unique aspects of the acquisition from Program and Contracting perspectives to: Promote fairness and encourage competition, Increase quality of responses by educating industry, and Increase transparency Obtain feedback from industry Reduce overall programmatic risks Interaction with interested vendors How to reserve your spot: As the VA National Conference Center has limited spacing, industry personnel will be registered for this event in the order received, by preference of session. Vendors will be permitted to register up to three personnel per firm. To register, please follow the attached link or scan the QR code and submit the requested information. Please respond by 5:00pm ET May 3, 2019. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VAIndustryDay Note: In the event you do not make the cut off, your name will still be added to the list of interested vendors and you will receive a copy of the industry day notes/slides/audio etc. Upon confirmation of your registration, with your assigned session, additional information regarding the potential vehicle will be distributed. Please note, although your firm may submit specific question(s), we will only answer the common themes at industry day due to time constraints. A later posting will be released that will answer all submitted questions.
