Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for commercial items. This announcement, with its attachments, constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The NAWCAD, AIR 2.5.1.5, Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, brand name specific, for calibration equipment from Keysight Technologies Inc., 9780 S Meridian Blvd, Englewood CO, 80112. The procurement is for calibration equipment that is utilized by the Government in NAVAIR calibration laboratories. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition in USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial brand name specific acquisition.
