- This is a Market Survey to locate sources for the repair and retrofit of CN-1716/A AHRU NSN: 6605-01-503-5284 P/N 765100-20 and 660515-021-8777, C-12712/A CU NSN: 6605-01-519-3560 and 6605-15-012-8776 P/N 765200-20. These items were produced sole source by Northrop Grumman Italia (NGI), Via Pontina km 27,800, 00040 Pomezia, Italy, CAGE A3379. The AHRU is a self-contained strap-down, inertial reference set that provide pitch, roll, and magnetic heading, angular rate and body acceleration information to the flight instruments on the UH-60A/L Black Hawk helicopter. The CU provides the command and control of the AHRU and the interface with the avionics suite. These items contain hardware and software proprietary to NGI. Detailed technical data for this item is not available from the Army except for performance specification. Any sources capable of repairing these items must so indicate, by writing to US Army Futures Command (AFC), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), C5ISR Center's Product Realization Systems Engineering and Quality Directorate (PRD), ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB, Building 6007, 3rd Floor, F3-140-090, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Companies must demonstrate that they had past experience of repair these items. The lead time requirement for repair these items is 5 months from the Date of the Contract. The response must demonstrate intimate knowledge of the system(s) including areas such as system design, interface requirements, test and fault isolation, product acceptance processes, projected parts/materials usage and the necessary special test equipment. The response must also demonstrate that the repaired products will be able to obtain Airworthiness certification. Successful supplier is require to warrant that the item will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
