- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) Industry Day Event The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) is responsible for properly overseeing VA s implementation of the newly acquired Cerner Millennium Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution, to include: program management, financial management, change management, risk management, training, testing, deployment, infrastructure readiness and a myriad of other programmatic and project management responsibilities. During this historic transition, maintaining the continuity and quality of care to our Veterans remains paramount. This effort will support overall modernization of the VA s healthcare infrastructure, and the fulfillment of critical interoperability objectives within VA, between the Department of Defense (DoD) and VA, and with the VA s network of community providers. OEHRM is scheduled to Go-Live at its initial operating capability (IOC) sites located in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and Spokane) beginning in March 2020. Consistent with its commitment to overall transparency and partnering with industry, OEHRM is pleased to announce its hosting of an Industry Day Event on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. Leaders from OEHRM will provide attendees a program/project update, while senior executives from OEHRM s principal contractors, Cerner and Booz Allen Hamilton, will provide updates and insights to their partnering and subcontracting processes.
