Description

This solicitation is to provide marketing and administrative support, activity guidance, reading incentives, program supplies, Summer Reading Program information website, and a cloud-based reading program management system for the Department of Defense (DOD) Summer Reading Program. The Navy MWR Library Program has been the executor of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (OUSD) funded DoD Summer Reading Program since 2010. The Summer Reading Program is designed to promote literacy at any age and a lifelong love of reading. Each Summer Reading Program features an engaging theme with coordinated marketing, graphics, decorative and program supplies, and reading incentives shared by nearly 200 DoD Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Libraries and recreation centers at installations around the world, reaching over 65,000 readers. Installations hold local Summer Reading Programs for six or more weeks between May and September annually.
