Description
GSA MULTIPLE AWARD SCHEDULE (MAS) SOLICITATION. The Greater Southwest Acquisition Center, Fort Worth, Texas, is issuing a refreshed solicitation effective May 2, 2019 electronically. IMPORTANT: CURRENT SCHEDULE 066 CONTRACTORS DO NOT NEED TO RESPOND TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This is the final set of solicitation refreshes before GSA consolidates the 24 existing MAS solicitations into a single Schedule for products and services in October 2019. To learn more about MAS Transformation, please review: GSA press release at: https://www.gsa.gov/about-us/newsroom/news-releases/gsa-announces-transformation-of-multiple-awards-schedules FAQs on the Federal Marketplace website at: https://www.gsa.gov/about-us/organization/federal-acquisition-service/fas-initiatives/federal-marketplace-strategy The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) is planning to refresh all GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) solicitations to: 1. Update proposal instructions to require order status on GSA Advantage! Orders 2. Update proposal instructions related to Section 508 Standards and information 3. Update AbilityOne Essentially the Same Proposal Instructions 4. Incorporate new Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Determinations 5. Incorporate minor updates from FAC 2019-01 as applicable. High level descriptions of the above changes can be found in CP-FSS-2 SIGNIFICANT CHANGES (OCT 1988) of the solicitation document. NOTICE: The GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) program has recently experienced a tremendous increase in new offers. Due to the large number of new offers currently in process, it could take up to 12 months before your offer is evaluated. GSA's practice is to evaluate offers in the order in which they are received. However, GSA may give priority to processing certain offers when circumstances dictate, such as when a federal agency Contracting Officer specifically requests an expedited offer review in order to meet a pending requirement that will be procured under the MAS program, or when there is a need for GSA to bring strategically critical new products or services to market in order to meet federal customer needs. SIGNIFICANT CHANGES: Please review the solicitation document for clause changes. Please note that all vendors submitting an offer under this Solicitation must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) website. The SAM website can be accessed https://www.sam.gov. Interested parties may access the solicitation at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation files.
