- The U. S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center (PWRC) has a requirement to replace and or resurface damaged and failing concrete walking surfaces in the following areas: Concrete Handicapped Ramp and Main Entrance Steps Replacement, Asphalt to Concrete Sidewalk in front of building, Flagstone Court Yard: (Hand Work), Sidewalk Replacement (Hand- Work), Sidewalk and Steps Replacement, Loading Dock and Loading Dock Stairs Repair/Resurfacing. Project is located in Laurel, MD 20708. The project shall be completed within 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 -$100,000 Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0119Q0125 will be issued on or about 05/03 /2019 with written quotes due on or about 05/17/2019. A site visit will be held. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice MUST be given Charles Wicks 301.356.3696 or cewicks@usgs.gov for attendees of the site visit. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L In the Request for Quote (RFQ). CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. This acquisition is total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 238110. The size standard is $15.0 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 06/03/2019. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
