Introduction The Education Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Cincinnati VAMC is requesting additional specific tables and chairs to match existing tables and chairs for the Auditorium for Training purposes. This purchase is a supplement to the existing tables and chairs existing at the office site currently. The vendor responding to the solicitation will provide the required furnishings as noted in the attached specifications and described in the performance based technical specification. The attached technical specifications describe the minimal materials and technical requirements. Scope of Work/Contractor Requirements The selected contractor shall be required to furnish, deliver and install all items to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio 45220. All products shall be made and assembled in the United States of America. The selected contractor shall provide the products listed or can propose equal products that matches specifications for the product requested. Specifications shall be submitted for all products if an or-equal product is being submitted. To submit an equal, a product sample may need to be presented to the VA Interior Designer for final approval prior to accepting the equal product proposal. Contractor is responsible for providing a scaled, dimensioned, and detailed drawing of each piece of furniture specified to ensure furniture specified shall properly fit into space. The items required for the tables and chairs for the Education Training in the Auditorium should match the existing are followed: ITEM #1 Qty: 24 Folding Table, Rectangular, with Roman collapse Style Legs, Hinged tube to reduce noise, Heavy gauge end caps with cast corner inserts. Ships Assembled. Table Top Material: Anodized Aluminum Alulite Top with sanded swirls and durable, etched surface must resists stains and scratches. Table Top Finish: Clear powder-coat paint. All furniture is to be delivered and installed tentatively June 7, 2019. Install is to be scheduled with the VA Interior Designer. VA Interior designer shall notify contractor to proceed with manufacturing of furniture based space availability. Product manufacturing shall need to be delayed or product may need to be stored based upon project schedule for availability. This installation shall be conducted during normal business hours. This installation time shall fall between Monday at 8:00am (start time) through Friday at 4:00pm. This installation should be completed within 1 business day. Installation shall be scheduled two weeks in advance with VA Interior Designer. The final dates for installation to be determined by the VA prior to installation within the above stated product lead time requirement. Site building access is at grade street level from main entrance. Elevator access is available to the 1st floor of the building. : Installation shall be completed within the timeframe outlined above. This shall include from arrival of the truck through the punch list completion. Completion shall be done prior to departure time on the last day of installation (2 business day installation time period). Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services. Potential sources should submit: business name and address; point of contact; business size, and any applicable business socio-economic category; capability statement; provide information for recent and relevant projects similar in nature; DUNS number; contract number if applicable; and brochure of equipment. The NAICS code for this procurement is 337214 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901.
