Description
The purpose of this announcement is to notify Industry that: Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) will sponsor an Industry Day Forum for Draft Solicitation Number N69450-19-R-0914 Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWWTP) P-663 located at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, Jacksonville Florida (FL) as follows: Date: Thursday, 23 May 2019 Time: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET Location: Naval Station (NS) Mayport Building 1, Massey Avenue Jacksonville Florida 32227 Conference Room: Training Room 1 Participants may be required to stop at the Quarterdeck of Building 1 before proceeding to Training Room 1. AWWTP design-bid-build project P-663 will construct a new advanced wastewater treatment facility that includes unit processes and buildings and demolition and removal of remaining structures and utilities associated with the existing wastewater treatment plant. This project is a resolicitation of Solicitation Number N69450-17-R-0907. The estimated construction cost for the project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. NAVFAC SE is seeking industry feedback for the AWWTP P-663 at NS Mayport, Jacksonville FL. At this forum specific feedback concerning phasing, scheduling, task challenges, and acquisition strategy will be requested from the participants. The forum will provide a brief overview of the requirements for draft solicitation N69450-19-R-0914 AWWTP P-663 to include project specific requirements, safety and source selection and offers a chance to participate in an interactive discussion and Q and A session. In order to have more meaningful dialogue, it is requested that companies provide comments and questions in advance of the forum via ProjNet. The bidder inquiry key for this draft solicitation is 6WYI28-9NZX4X. Innovative ideas, suggestions and methods discussed during the conference could potentially be incorporated in the performance specifications and contract structure of the final solicitation for the AWWTP. This event is open to all contractors interested in North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237110 “ Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction contracting and subcontracting opportunities with NAVFAC SE, specifically regarding the upcoming AWWTP procurement. All industry representatives interested in attending this forum are requested to pre-register for the forum and must contact Dianne L. In accordance with Department of the Navy and NS Mayport security regulations, all prospective visitors and contractor personnel without access to NS Mayport are hereby notified that in order to obtain a one-day visitor ™s pass for NS Mayport each person must complete and bring SECNAV 5512/1 Form (Attachment B) the day of the forum. Detailed information is provided in the draft solicitation. Participation in this Industry Day Forum is voluntary and in no way obligates the Government to award any contracts, or pay any costs associated with such participation.
