- Sources Sought Only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs South Texas Health Care Systems (VASTHCS), 5441 Babcock Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78240-3993 is conducting market research for qualified firms capable of providing Medstation 4000 medicine storage and dispensing system and support for the Waco, Texas VA Medical Center located at Doris Miller Dept. of VAMC 4800 Memorial Dr., Waco, TX 76711-1329. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 541519, size standard $27.5 million. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company name, business size (large or small) identify whether or not a firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates a firm s ability to meet the above requirement. Vendors are encouraged to provide a brief capability statement/prior work within the scope of work being requested. This not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and received no later than May 10, 2019 by midnight ET. All correspondence and responses shall be e-mailed to: christopher.perina@va.gov. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. STATEMENT OF WORK/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS PYXIS 6 Drawer Main Total Dimensions 22.8 W x 27 D x 54.3 H Pyxis technologies help to improve workflow efficiency. It is an automated medication dispensing system supporting decentralized medication management. It helps clinicians safely and efficiently dispense medications while offering enterprise-ready integration. Must be compatible and interface with current Pyxis Medstation 4000 system. INSTALLATION BY VENDOR The rep from the company will put the Pyxis together and install the unit wherever it will be placed to make sure it is working. The rep has no access to patient information. They will only be at the site where the pyxis will be located which could be in the pharmacy area or other clinics.
