- General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Work shall include removal of existing dumbwaiter and supply, installation of a new dumbwaiter. The contractor will provide all necessary material, labor, permits and fees for the removal of the existing dumbwaiter, i.e. associated material, devices, structures and the installation for a new Commercial Dumbwaiter in the existing shaft of the Historic Buckstaff Bathhouse. The site location is Hot Springs National Park, 509 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR. Solicitation Number: 140P6219Q0008. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Type of Acquisition: A negotiated (with the possibility to award without discussions), firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical approach, past performance, and price to determine the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the government. The NAICS code for this project is 238290 and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.fbo.com or https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm on or about 19 April 2019.
