- SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought announcement only. It is not a solicitation announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to request responses from qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) interested and capable of providing lease and maintenance on high speed, high volume printers that operate in an industrial environment. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334118. This Sources Sought Notice is part of market research and will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions including whether the procurement warrants a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). Additionally, all SDVOSB or VOSB who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vetbiz.gov. All interested offerors should submit information by email to jeffrey.crysler@va.gov received no later than 5pm CST on May 15th, 2019 SUMMARY: The Department of Veterans Affairs is responsible for 7 regional Consolidated Mail-Outpatient Pharmacy s (CMOP) that are responsible for packaging and shipping pharmaceutical prescriptions to veterans. Printers will be used to print patient specific documents such a medication instructions and information. Vendor must be able to provide printers, long term support (maintenance and service) for printers, and expertise to integrate printers into an industrial automated system with proper queuing, release, and status reporting capabilities. Printer Requirements: High-speed and high-volume printer to be used in an industrial facility. Quantity: 36 printers Total printing requirements for all 36 printers: 60M total pages / 30M double sided pages. Must print both sides simultaneously. Location of facility: One CMOP located in one of the following states: Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Arizona, North Carolina, Massachusetts, or Texas. Documentation of technical expertise in this field by providing sufficient details of completed similar projects to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for acquisition.
