AMENDMENT 0001 issued to answer vendor question(s). *****REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS***** This posting is best viewed at FAA Contract Opportunities, https://faaco.faa.gov. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), AAQ-500 - REGIONAL ACQUISITIONS, College Park, GA, is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-19-R-00325 Grounds Maintenance, Santa Barbara Air Traffic Control Tower, 10 Burns Place, Goleta, CA. as detailed in the Specifications attached to the Solicitation in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy as supplemented with additional information included in this advertisement. NOTICE: The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law by President Clinton on November 15, 1995. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The FAA ™s Acquisition Management System (AMS), which became effective on April 1, 1996, is utilized in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the small business size standard is $ 7.50 million average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. SITE VISIT The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A one-time site visit will be conducted on 3 May 2019 at 9:30 am PT at the Santa Barbara Air Traffic Control Tower (SBA ATCT), 10 Burns Place, Goleta, CA. Please provide Linda Hennequant at linda.hennequant@faa.gov with a list of attendees at least one day prior to the appointed time. The on-site POC will be Michael A. Ballard, whose number is (805) 797-1108. Information provided at this site visit, as well as answers to questions shall not change/qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. ATTENDANCE AT THIS SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
