Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Orlando intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) GSA Schedule 70 GS-35F-0297K purchase order to AT&T Mobility LLC for the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Combat Training Center Instrumentation System (CTC-IS) wireless data plan. The wireless data plan is required to conduct training operations on Fort Polk Louisiana. Thousands of fielded devices are using the current AT&T data services and the Government is not going to replace the installed AT&T hardware until future upgrades are required. The recently fielded and approved devices are designed to operate on the AT&T wireless infrastructure that covers 95% of the JRTC training area. The CTC-IS requires a commercial cellular backbone for transmission of instrumentation and processing of data. The data plans will utilizes the installed infrastructure within the training area. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
