Description

PROJECT 539-16-209, Construct Veterans Serenity Garden (Cincinnati VA Medical Center) CONTRACTOR SHALL provide any supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, demolition, and/or removal required to complete Project 539-16-209 at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center located at 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220. For more information, see Sections B and C of the solicitation. Offerors shall bid on Line Item 0001, per Section L. THE SCHEDULE OF BID ITEMS (DEDUCT ALTERNATIVES) IS LOCATED IN SECTION L. Offerors shall bid all five bid items. THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE for this project will be 184 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). This time period includes all lead times for material/equipment acquisition, document preparation, and all submittal processing by a third party. NOTICE OF VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (VOSB) SET ASIDE: This solicitation is issued in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006, Sections 502 and 503, as a set-aside for Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) contractors. Pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8127(d), competition is restricted to VOSB construction firms, as there is a reasonable expectation that two or more offers from VOSB contractors will be received under this solicitation. All prospective offerors must be verified in the VetBiz.gov database as a VOSB to be considered for award. Please see applicable solicitation provisions and clauses for more details concerning eligibility requirements. See VAAR 852.219-11. THE NAICS CODE assigned to this specialty trade acquisition is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THIS PROJECT IS ESTIMATED TO BE BETWEEN $100,000 and $250,000. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OFFERORS ARE CAUTIONED to read all clauses and provisions in the solicitation document carefully.
