- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center, is seeking a contractor to model movements of endangered Everglades Snail Kite birds derived from remotely sensed GPS locations to identify critical-use areas, including nest sites. The contractor shall purchase three GPS-enabled PTT-100 satellite transmitters, place them on three birds and provide approximately two years of tracking data from those transmitters. This is a fixed price contract. The estimated project period of performance is 06/01/2019 to 09/30/2021. Quote submissions are due on or before 05/16/2019. Refer to Section E.3. for Instructions to Offerors for the Submission of Quotes. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to the Government, considering price and technical approach/capability. Refer to Section E.5., for Evaluation Factors. This solicitation allows full and open competition, regardless of business size. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
