Description

Brand Name or Equal Purchase of Pluggo-RH Decapper for MPLS VA Laboratory This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Market research is being conducted to determine the amount of qualified and capable businesses that can provide the items requested below. If you believe your firm is able to provide the items requested below, you are encouraged to respond by the due date with all of the required information indicated below in order to be considered. Due date for responses is close of business (4:30PM local time/CT) on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Email responses to Traci Johannes at traci.johannes@va.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in writing via email. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted/returned. When submitting a response to this RFI, offerors must include the following: Indicate socio-economic status Include picture of offered items and support literature, brochure etc Indicate any existing Government contract where item(s) may be purchased (i.e. FSS/GSA contract etc.) Must be able to provide installation DISCLAIMER-This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201 (e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. NAICS: 339112 Size Standard: 1000 employees Required capabilities: Must be a bench top system, with a small foot print to fit in the laboratories limited space. Must be a complete electric system that does not require C02 or an air-compressor accessory to run. Must be able to fit in and no bigger than a 3 11 X 2 4.5 X 4 bench top space. Must be able to load the Abbott Architect racks, 5 ¾ long and 1 ¼ wide, with a hook on each end and holds 5 tubes in each rack, directly onto de-capper to have the tubes de-capped. Must de-cap a variety of Becton Dickinson test tube types and sizes. Must be a true walk-away operation that holds multiple racks at a time. Must have a high capacity output to keep up with daily operations at MVAHCS. GREY MARKET ITEMS:   The Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. The vendor shall provide new items ONLY; no remanufactured or "grey market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.   The offeror shall provide evidence of its authority to distribute the proposed equipment/system at the time of submission of its quote/offer.   Please note that such evidence is subject to verification by the Contracting Officer at his/her discretion.
