Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Mobile Air Traffic Assets has issued a Solicitation for lab testing for Surge Protection Modules to provide an independent third party validation the devices meet the FAA requirements. Testing must be performed in accordance with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) C62.36-2014 standard on prototype surge protection devices. The breakdown voltages for these surge protection devices are either 7 V or 60 V. The principle North American Industry Classification Systems Code is 541380, Electrical testing Laboratories or services. This procurement is Full and Open. Small Business Size Standard $15.0 Million Project Location: Testing will be performed at Contractor ™s Facility. Contractor will be responsible for providing the deliverables and shipping the FAA, Government Furnished Equipment back to the FAA within 120 days from award in accordance with the attached Statement of Work- Rev. A, dated 4/12/2019. Any proposal received after 16:00 CT on May 30, 2019 will be considered non-responsive and the offer may not be considered for award.
