Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) in New London, CT intents to award sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for quotes; a solicitation package will not be issued. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy intends to award a contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Association to MathWorks INC. for annual MathWorks Full Suite, MATLAB online Training Suite and MATLAB Grader license subscription at the Coast Guard Academy for its academic 2019-2020 year. MathWorks software is used by the entire cadet corps and the mathematics department. This software is proprietarily sold and not available through resellers. FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
