Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.303, specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is attached to this announcement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01, dated December 20, 2018. Solicitation # 36C26219Q0697 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Open Market Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). This procurement will be issued under as a small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 311119 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard 500 Employees. The Government is seeking a contract to acquire lab animal feed and bedding for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). See attached SF 1449 Solicitation for Statement of Work (SOW), applicable clauses / provisions, and other pertinent information relative to this solicitation. Additional information and description of BPA is available on SF1449 attachment. Place of Performance: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) Supply Warehouse 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073 VA Sepulveda Healthcare System Supply Warehouse 16111 Plummer Street North Hills, CA 91343 Estimated Period of Performance of BPA: BASE YEAR: June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020 OPTION YEAR 1: June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021 OPTION YEAR 2: June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022 OPTION YEAR 3: June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023 OPTION YEAR 3: June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 ALL APPLICABLE CLAUSES HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE ATTACHMENT.
