- Synopsis: This announcement serves as a Pre-Solicitation Notice Only and Not a solicitation. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Office of Acquisitions, intends to issue a solicitation to seek a vendor who will provide services to the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) Fischer House located at 1501 San Pedro SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The NMVAHCS is seeking a qualified contractor to provide janitorial/housekeeping services. The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and all other required equipment necessary to perform all operations are required. All professionals providing services under the terms of this contract will be appropriately certified and possess the skills and experience needed to perform the services. The Facility is to be maintained with acceptable levels of cleanliness that meet the Industry Standards including all applicable laws, and regulations, contract standards, instructions, and commercial practices. In addition, the Contractor must understand and utilize appropriate sanitation procedures. Control and monitor to ensure that all sanitation requirements are properly and efficiently addressed. Understand diseases and know the proper chemicals and methods of cleaning. This service shall include janitorial services for approximately 16 private suites approximately 13,500 square feet, a common area that includes kitchen, powder room, living room, family room, dining room and laundry room. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary cleaning supplies needed to perform the terms of the contract. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for providing stock supplies for the Fisher House suites, these will be required to be of the quality appropriate to a fine hotel. An item list will be provided in the solicitation for a detail of required supplies. The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a 100% set aside for SDVOSB as a result of the solicitation. The period of performance for this procurement shall consist of one 1 base period and 4 option years each consisting of 12 months each. The award date (Base Year) will be 08/01/19. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the FBO website for the issuance of the RFQ as well as any updates to the solicitation. All contractors must be currently registered (have an active registration) in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) (http:/www.sam.gov) and registered in the VetBiz (https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/) website as an SDVOSB.. Further, Offerors are required to complete their Online Representations and Certifications under SAM.gov prior to submittal of a proposal. All responsible sources may submit an offer in response to the solicitation in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities on or about May 17, 2019.
