- The US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach Procurement and Contacting department on behalf of USCG Base Charleston for intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for Front Security Entry Gate to the Palmetto Southern, Inc. The purpose is to secure a replacement Front Security Gate for Base Charleston due to wear and tear from daily usage and the environment. The gate is a dual track cantilever, it opening and splay out and the internal track is damage. The damage has cause the gate warp and difficult to open and close. Security for the base is of utmost important which house several unit commands with various security levels. Palmetto Southern, Inc is a local company who can provide their goods and service quickly and efficiently, since this is an unusual and compelling urgency matter.
