Description
The Veterans Administration, Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Research and Development Group in Columbia, Missouri, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MILabs B.V. for a single integrated PET-SPECT system which includes PET/SPECT/CT/Optical imaging, optimized for rodent research. This system will be utilized to provide imaging support to the new Open Field Blast Core (OFBC) facility as well as supporting current and proposed VA Merit and NIH funded research. The Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital requires the MILabs VECTor6CTUHROI system with its capability of providing four imaging technologies in a single integrated system, as well as the salient features noted below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 4:00 PM EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Salient Features Multimodality imaging technologies, including Micro-PET, Micro-SPECT, Micro-CT Optical Imaging technologies (Bioluminescence, fluorescence, Cherenkov and Near-Infrared imaging) Single platform combined PET/SPECT/CT/Optical unit Simultaneous PET and SPET acquisitions PET and SPECT data acquisition windowing Stationary Ring SPECT detectors Fully integrated anesthesia delivery system Physiological monitoring capabilities Real-time video monitoring Full list mode data acquisitions 3D/4D visualization Software for image co-registration of PET/SPECT/CT Software capable of raw data conversion to DICOM Capability of imaging mice and rats, including interchangeable beds and collimators (where applicable) PET spatial resolution of 0.75mm (750 um) SPECT energy range up to 600 keV In vivo SPECT resolution of <0.25mm (250 um) CT cardiac and respiratory gating CT energy source 80 kV CT spatial resolution 0.01 mm (10 um) Interchangeable beds compatible with the 7T Bruker Micro-MRI imaging system NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
