Description

Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, TX, is seeking sources related to the procurement, installation, commissioning, and training for a computer controlled diesel injector pump and diesel injector test stand with associated accessories to test, repair, and rebuild the Stanadyne DB2 fuel injector pumps. The vendor shall be responsible for shipping, unloading, installation of all equipment and provide 40 hours of on-site training to RRAD personnel. The equipment shall be capable to test all makes and models of fuel injection equipment, including automotive type in-line, rotary, and common rail pumps up to eight (8) cylinders. In addition, the stand shall be capable of testing EUI, EUP, and common rail fuel injectors with the addition of adapter kits and accessories. The test stand shall include one (1) set of all accessories, adapters, and special tooling required to test, disassemble, and reassemble the Stanadyne DB2 fuel injector pumps in accordance with the vendor's standard practice. If water cooling is required, the vendor shall provide and install a stand-alone closed loop chiller unit. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. No award will be made as a result of this Sources Sought. This Sources Sought is only to seek information from industry. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of Small and Large Business Community to include 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
