Description
STATEMENT OF WORK OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) with a contractual obligation for: Roof/gutter repair Building 1 and 4. SOW: Contractor will remove and repair about 10 squares of Pennsylvania slate roof or approximately 10 feet in from the flashing left slope of roof to the pitch of the roof. Inspect and repair complete roofing system for loose slate tiles installed on battens on Building 4. Caulk and seal water penetration areas on building 4. Repair and seal all pipe boots on building 4. Repair or replace TPO drain building 4 so it will not leak. above post office. If needed, remove and reinstall lightning cables on Building 4. Repair flashing and replace all sealant applications on approximately 200 ft of flashing on Building 4. Repair gutters approximately 135 ft around building 4 and 80 ft on building 1, A wing. Scape, clean, coat and apply mesh to seal gutters. To get to Building 1, contractor will have to remove and reinstall sidewalk awning to get equipment in. Contractor must remove all debris from VA property. General Conditions & Responsibility They contractor shall furnish all parts, labor and material for completion of job and provide tools or equipment as needed to complete the job. All materials and workmanship shall comply with all applicable codes, specifications, local ordinances, industry standards and utility company regulations. Contractor must provide and wear all safety equipment while performing duties HOURS OF WORK: Contractor set up and work shall be during normal working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. WARRANTY: The parts, material, and repairs warranty for the repairs on building 1 and building 4 shall be for a duration of one year after all repairs are completed. Location of Work: VAMC Montgomery, AL. Type of Contract: This shall be a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
