Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Responses to this notice shall include: Company Name Address Point of Contact Phone, Fax, and Email DUNS number Cage Code Type of business, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, SDB Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described below: The Kansas City VA Medical Center is looking to procure an Esophageal Manometry to scan for the early detection of gastroenterology diseases and functional disorders. Full evaluation of motor functions of esophagus. Enhanced sensitivity for diagnosis of dysphagia, achalasia, and hiatal hernia. Data in spatiotemporal plots-precise measurement and detailed data analysis Anatomical profile display includes graphical pointers to identify landmarks (LES, UES, and PIP). Instantly measures and ensures that sphincter barrier pressures are correctly recorded, despite movement of the LES/EGJ during swallowing. High-resolution-versatile and complete motility visualization. Offer complete physiological mapping of esophageal motor function from pharynx to Stomach. Easy location of respiratory inversion point and LES to further aid in diagnosis of hiatal hernia. Portable system with cart 3D visualization of the Esophagogastric junction-Includes radial EGJ pressure Real time video visualization of swallow coordination. LCD flat panel touchscreen with articulating arm Modular data acquisition controller Windows based operating system LAN connection and WiFi enabled Integrated catheter auto-calibration system Patient isolation transformer High-speed printer Catheters: Catheters offer 36 channels and provide 432 points of measurements to create pressure image from pharynx to stomach. 18 impedance channels to display bolus transition from pharynx to stomach. 96 3D channels to provide 3-D EGJ visualization. Small diameter (2.7mm) Provides physiological map with single positioning Catheter Sheath: Disposable protective outer cover to reduce contamination. Grey Market Goods: (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items. This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name (Medtronic ManoScan Z A200 Module). Response Needed by 5/23/2019 at 10:00AM CST.
